From the manicured streets of Kensington to the sparkling social scenes across Mayfair, a new star is rising, and her name is Juliet Mayhew. The breakout personality of The Real Housewives of London (RHOL), Juliet is fast becoming the face everyone’s talking about, captivating audiences with her mix of glamour, wit, and unmistakable authenticity.
Produced by the same masterminds behind the iconic Real Housewives franchises of Beverly Hills, New York, and Orange County, RHOL is London’s fresh take on luxury, drama, and real-life storytelling. And at the heart of it all? Juliet.

Behind The Glamour: The Woman You Didn’t Expect
Before the cameras started rolling, Juliet Mayhew was already a force in London’s luxury scene. She ran her own leather goods company, Deus Virtus, sourcing exotic leathers from Italy, Australia, and Thailand — a business whose pieces have been sold worldwide, including at Harvey Nichols in Saudi Arabia, Sauce Dubai, and outlets across the U.S.
A former Young Designer of the Year nominee, Juliet’s taste for craftsmanship is matched by her eye for interiors, having graduated from Inchbald and designed exclusive spaces such as a gym for a Mayfair private members’ club.
Yet Juliet’s story isn’t just about luxury. It’s about the woman beneath the jewels, a devoted wife and mother, a businesswoman, and a friend who isn’t afraid to reveal her vulnerabilities.
“I didn’t want to just be a character on a show,” she says. “I wanted to be myself, with all my imperfections, ambitions, and moments of vulnerability. That’s what makes the show real.”
Behind the polished image is a woman who wears her heart on her sleeve, who loves deeply and leads with fierce loyalty. “I love big and I love deep,” Juliet shares. “When I love someone, I love big.”
Her love languages are clear: words of affirmation, quality time, gifts, acts of service, and physical touch, a warm, tactile approach that is at odds with the often reserved British social norm. “I’m a big hugger,” she laughs, “and I think physical contact with people makes such a difference.”

The Real In Real Housewives: Friendship, Feuds, And Finding Herself
For many, the Real Housewives brand evokes extravagant parties, sharp tongues, and headline-making confrontations. RHOL delivers its share of those moments, but Juliet insists there’s a deeper current running through the show.
“Yes, there’s drama, it’s part of what keeps viewers hooked,” she says with a knowing smile. “But at its core, the show is about friendship, loyalty, and growth. Watching these women support each other through heartbreak, career moves, and personal challenges is what makes it special.”
Juliet’s own journey on the show has been one of candid transformation. From being initially cautious about sharing her private life on camera, she has become one of the most compelling and authentic voices in the cast.
“If I could go back to day one of filming, I’d tell myself, ‘You’re okay. Don’t worry so much. Remember, we’re making entertainment. You’re not fighting a civil war,’” she says.
Firm in her convictions, Juliet reveals, “I’m older and wise enough now to say, no, stay strong with your convictions. You don’t need a popularity vote. Some people may not agree or might be upset, but you’ve got to stand true to who you are.”

That authenticity extends to her perspective on the often-misunderstood lifestyle portrayed on the show. “We all bleed the same blood. We all cry the same tears. People think it’s easy because of the life we live, but everyone has their own struggles,” Juliet explains, peeling back the glossy surface to reveal the very human stories underneath.
But, are the tensions we see on camera happening behind the scenes too? On the sometimes fraught dynamic with fellow cast member Panthea, Juliet says, “Panthea is a good woman, she is a beautiful mother and wife, but our relationship is more of a social relationship. I respect who she is, we are two different personalities. In life you have to agree to disagree.”
At the heart of it all, Juliet wears her emotions openly. “I wear my heart on my sleeve. I love big and deep. People might not always get that, but that’s me, genuine, disciplined, and loyal.”
Ultimately, what elevates RHOL beyond the expected drama, she insists, is the powerful bond between the women themselves. “Watching these women support each other, even through the hard times, shows what this show is really about, friendship, loyalty, and growth.”

Investing In Glenapp Castle’s Legacy Of Luxury And Philanthropy
Beyond the glitz of The Real Housewives of London, Juliet Mayhew and her husband Anthony invest in one of Scotland’s most exquisite luxury retreats: Glenapp Castle.
Acquired in 2015 by Paul and Poppy Szkiler, close family friends and business partners, Glenapp is much more than a five-star hotel. It is a beacon of philanthropy, legacy, and responsible investment.
“We’ve made so many happy memories here,” she reflects, “but every stay, every event, contributes to a legacy that changes lives.”
The true heart of Glenapp’s mission is rooted in the work of the Truestone Group, chaired by Paul Szkiler. Founded with a vision that transcends profit, Truestone invests in businesses and communities across Africa, Asia, and the UK, tackling social and environmental challenges head-on.
Juliet explains, “Their work began in a country ravaged by conflict and hardship... Through microfinancing and leadership training, they’re helping talented individuals rise, creating real, lasting change.”

One standout initiative involves building sporting infrastructure in Sierra Leone, home to some of the most gifted young athletes but historically lacking resources. “It’s about more than sport,” Juliet says. “It’s a tool for community building, discipline, and opportunity, giving young people a chance to thrive in ways they never imagined.”
This ethos of responsible wealth and meaningful legacy is central to Juliet’s philosophy. “You can’t take it with you when you go,” she says thoughtfully. “What matters is what you leave behind, how you use your resources to make the world better.”
Glenapp Castle, with its world-class service and spectacular setting, has welcomed celebrities, world leaders, and discerning travellers from around the globe. But what makes it truly exceptional is how luxury seamlessly blends with heartfelt philanthropy, making it a home not just for guests, but for a cause.
For Juliet, Glenapp is more than an investment. It’s a family endeavour, a symbol of legacy, and a reminder that true luxury lies in giving back.

Triumph At Chelsea Flower Show: Bringing Vision To Bloom
Juliet Mayhew’s flair for creativity shone brightly at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, where she proudly took home a gold medal. Partnering with London-based event florist Warren Bushaway, Juliet brought her vision to life with a stunning floral display that captivated judges and visitors alike.
“I’m always privileged to work with incredible talent,” Juliet reflects. “Warren truly helped turn my vision into reality. Winning gold was a dream come true, but it’s never about one person — it’s a team effort.”
For Juliet, the connection between fashion, design, and storytelling is seamless. “Fashion and design are storytelling tools for me, whether it’s a floral arrangement or what I wear on screen. It’s about expressing confidence, creativity, and authenticity.”
Styling herself throughout filming and at Chelsea was no small task, but Juliet trusted her own instincts. “I’ve always stayed true to who I am. That same ethos went into my Chelsea creation, it’s about dedication, discipline, and fearless creativity.”
More than just a competition, Chelsea was a celebration of collaboration and passion. “It’s about the joy of creation, the power of working together, and the pride in bringing something extraordinary to life,” she says.

Motherhood, Family Life, And Style: Juliet’s Real-Life Balance
Behind the glittering lights and luxury events, Juliet Mayhew’s true anchor is her family. Fiercely loyal and grounded by her faith, Juliet speaks openly about the legacy she hopes to leave through the values she instils in her children.
“You know, I am a fiercely loyal person and I am raising my children to do the right thing and act with integrity. But legacy for me is a very big. I need them to stand up and say I’m proud of mummy,” she says.
Raising them as “a gentleman and a lady,” Juliet wants her children to never feel ashamed of her, no matter what. “I just don’t want them to look back and say, mummy, I’m embarrassed.”
Her husband remains her steady rock in a world that can often feel overwhelming. “I love my husband very much. He’s been a great support. He always gives me wise counsel,” Juliet shares. “He’s such a good man. He is the calmest, kindest, consistent person I know. And he’s married to this butterfly of emotions and creativity.”

The emotional intensity Juliet admits to comes partly from her theatre background and the natural rhythms of womanhood.
“Sometimes you will be in a place of being reactive and sensitive and, you know, I’m dramatic. But I think it’s to keep your head on your shoulders and look at the scenario you’re in and make an objective calculation of where you’re at, as opposed to being led by emotion.”
She tries to teach her children the same perspective: “Don’t just judge on surface reaction. Try and think there might be something behind that.”
The decision to bring cameras into their family life was not taken lightly. “We sat down. We discussed it as a family. My daughter is not in the show, and I’ve respected that”. But, her son Orlando, now 16, appears in the show briefly.
“Both of them said, ‘You know what, mommy, you’ve been a great mommy. You’ve been a great wife. This is your time to shine. Go and enjoy it.’ To be fair, I think my daughter was more concerned I was going to jump in her suitcase and come to university with her. So she’s like, ‘Keep yourself busy, you are not coming to university with me.’”
At the core, Juliet Mayhew balances the glitter and drama of reality TV with a heartfelt dedication to family, faith, and the legacy she hopes to leave behind.
