Bentley has announced the name of its next model line, with the all-new Bentley Torcal set to become the fourth pillar of the marque’s product portfolio.
Revealed ahead of its full London debut on 23 September 2026, the Torcal will sit alongside the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga, marking a significant new chapter for the British luxury carmaker.
The name continues Bentley’s modern tradition of drawing inspiration from extraordinary natural landscapes. Like the Bentayga, Bacalar and Batur before it, Torcal takes its name from a remarkable landmark, El Torcal de Antequera in Andalusia, Spain. Known for its dramatic limestone formations, cliffs and labyrinthine rock structures, the landscape has been shaped over millions of years, creating a fitting reference point for a car Bentley says will set “extraordinary benchmarks”.

The word Torcal is also linked to the Latin “torquere”, meaning “to twist”, from which the modern word torque also traces its roots. For Bentley, the reference is more than linguistic. It speaks to the effortless performance, refinement and sense of progression that have long defined the brand.
Bentley Chairman and CEO Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser described the Torcal as a car that carries forward the qualities most closely associated with the marque.
“For 107 years Bentleys have been the most incredibly complete cars, effortless performance, outstanding comfort, exquisite British handcraftsmanship using the best natural materials and a soundtrack with soul,” he said. “Our new Torcal sets extraordinary benchmarks in every area that matters, and may just be the most considered car in our history.”
While Bentley has not yet released full technical details, the Torcal is already being positioned as one of the brand’s most important new models in years. Industry reports suggest it will be Bentley’s first all-electric model, likely taking the form of a luxury SUV or crossover, making it a defining step in the company’s transition towards a more electrified future.
New in concept yet Bentley to its core, the Torcal promises to combine the craftsmanship, performance and grand touring luxury that have shaped the marque since 1919, while introducing a more forward-looking vision for the next generation of Bentley customers.
Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks ahead of the Torcal’s official unveiling in London on 23 September.
