Bentley Launches Its Most Artistic Collection Yet: Ombré by Mulliner

Bentley has unveiled one of its most visually captivating projects to date, the Ombré by Mulliner Collection. Handcrafted at the brand’s legendary Dream Factory in Crewe and delivered to Bentley Rancho Mirage in California, the trio of bespoke creations, the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Flying Spur Speed, showcase a revolutionary paint technique that blends two tones into a seamless gradient, capturing the beauty of light in motion.

For this debut, Mulliner’s artisans introduced two brand-new colour combinations, Sunburst Gold into Orange Flame and Tungsten into Onyx, alongside the Topaz into Windsor Blue Continental GT, first seen during Monterey Car Week. Each finish takes almost 60 hours of meticulous, hand-applied craftsmanship, requiring perfect symmetry across every curve of the car. It marks one of the most complex paint processes in Bentley’s history, available exclusively through its global retailer network.

“Our ambition was to pioneer this innovative paint process in collaboration with Mulliner, presenting our customers with something truly special and creatively distinctive,” said Jason Cammisa, Managing Director of Bentley Rancho Mirage.

Inside, the artistry continues. Each cabin mirrors the fade of its exterior, with bespoke hides that shift from front to rear and intricate stitching and piping matched to the surrounding tones. Even the 22-inch ten-spoke swept wheels echo the colour gradient, ensuring total harmony between interior and exterior.

Inspired by California’s natural beauty, each design tells its own story. The Continental GTC Speed, fading from Sunburst Gold to Orange Flame, channels the ochre glow of Monument Valley. The Continental GT Speed, from Topaz to Windsor Blue, mirrors the shifting blues of the Pacific Ocean. And the Flying Spur Speed, blending Tungsten into Onyx, evokes the night skies over Southern California.

As one of Bentley’s most ambitious bespoke collections yet, Ombré by Mulliner captures the brand’s ethos of craftsmanship, innovation, and individuality. Each model is more than a car, it’s a moving work of art, celebrating the delicate balance between light, shadow, and speed.
