When you’re jetting off to an island as breathtaking as Mauritius, you need a suitcase that works as hard as your OOO auto-reply.

Editor-in-Chief Rebecca Nicholson took her curated holiday wardrobe to the tropics, blending high-impact pieces with effortless comfort.

From the beach to sunset dinners, here’s everything she wore (and loved) on her trip.

Shell Yeah – Matching Sets for the Win

First on the packing list? This cream shell print co-ord from Nobody’s Child. Lightweight, airy, and totally dreamy, the relaxed trousers paired with the matching tie-front top made for an Instagram-worthy look that was as breezy as the beachside cocktails. The delicate shell print gave coastal-chic energy without being too on-the-nose.

Rebecca chose to mix and match two co-ords, just as the model did on the website! More on the 2nd co-ord below...

Red Hot Linen

Mauritian sunsets call for colour, and this red tie-front sleeveless top brought the drama. Lightweight and breathable, it was perfect for al fresco dinners – best served with a spritz and ocean views.

Swimwear That Snatches

Underneath it all? The ultra-flattering Lifty Contour swimsuit by TA3, which cinches the waist and lifts in all the right places. “It’s honestly shapewear meets swimwear – I’ve never felt so secure and stylish,” Rebecca says. Black and white, this one-piece is pure old-Hollywood glamour.

Second Skin Vibes

For a game of padel, morning jogs along the coast (and the occasional airport dash), Rebecca opted for the buttery soft Second Skin leggings from Another Version with the matching crop.

Think Pilates class meets elevated loungewear – polished enough for a pitstop at the beach café.

Cover-ups can still serve high fashion. These sheer wide-leg beach trousers from Karen Millen offered just the right amount of glam for lounging poolside with a rosé in hand. Styled with oversized Guess sunglasses, the look was giving luxe travel influencer – minus the effort.

Boho Meets Beach

For evenings when the breeze picked up, Rebecca layered the Monsoon crochet cardigan over the co-ordinating Rochelle skirt. The semi-sheer textures and boho detailing struck the perfect balance between effortlessness and elegance.

In Her (Guess) Era

The final touch? Guess sunglasses that framed her face and elevated every outfit. A holiday must-have – whether shielding from the sun or the post-cocktail haze.

Every piece was chosen for its comfort, flattering cut, and island-ready style. Whether you're heading to Mauritius or just planning a staycation with style, these finds will bring a dose of holiday magic to your wardrobe.
