True to form, The Ivy has gone all-in for Christmas 2025, and the result is pure festive brilliance. This year, The Ivy Collection invites diners to step aboard The Ivy Midnight Express, a magical winter experience brought to life through immersive décor, twinkling seasonal installations, and a storybook-inspired menu illustrated by artist and scenographer Sophie Neil.
From the moment you walk through the doors, the joyful mood takes over. The set festive menu is priced at £55 for two courses or £60 for three, and it’s filled with Ivy classics alongside indulgent seasonal favourites.
To start, comforting options like French Onion Soup topped with bubbling gratinated cheese sit alongside nostalgic choices such as a classic prawn cocktail. Mains include the crowd-pleasing Turkey Ballotine with apricot, cranberry and pork stuffing, or a beautifully cooked Sea Bass paired with foraged wild mushrooms in a velvety cream sauce.
For dessert, tradition and theatre collide. There’s flambéed Christmas pudding, the iconic Ivy Chocolate Bombe with hot caramel sauce, and the wonderfully playful Ivy Santa, a vanilla parfait with milk mousse and a white-chocolate blondie. The magic lies in the reveal: the dish arrives concealed beneath a Santa hat, and your waiter lifts the red dome to unveil the most charming Christmas spectacle. It’s a moment worth saving for Instagram.
Another festive touch comes in the form of The Ivy Christmas Cracker, presented to every diner and filled with the essentials — paper hat, joke — plus a luxury treat. Your surprise could be anything from a cocktail stirrer to an Ivy keyring.
