German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen has unveiled the newly refitted Starfire, the 70.2-metre Lürssen superyacht formerly known as Saint Nicolas, following a comprehensive year-long transformation.
The refit, which commenced in February 2024, saw significant upgrades across the vessel. Highlights include a three-metre extension to the swimming platform, carried out by American design firm Murray & Associates, and a complete redesign of the sundeck.
This upper space has been reimagined as a dedicated wellness area, featuring a gym, spa, sauna, cold-plunge pool, and a massage room.

Originally delivered in 2007, Starfire is the second in a limited series of yachts designed by Espen Øino. Her exterior has been extensively reworked by Pascoli International, while the interiors were refreshed by Patrick Knowles Design, replacing the original décor by François Zuretti.
Emphasising a brighter and more nature-inspired feel, the refit introduced sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows on both the main and upper decks.
Accommodation on board is spread across six double cabins, two of which feature bunk beds ideal for families, alongside a seventh cabin reserved for staff. Notable onboard features include a swimming pool equipped with counter-current jets and a bar, an elevator that connects the tank deck to the pool deck, and impressive 2.3-metre minimum headroom throughout the yacht.
"We are delighted to celebrate the successful completion of Starfire's transformation," said Hannes Köhler of Arrow Yachts, who oversaw the project. "The yacht now boasts a strikingly contemporary appearance, marked by her bold new colour palette and the addition of expansive windows. This refit is a true testament to the exceptional teamwork and expertise of everyone involved."
Following her sale in October 2023, Starfire is now available for charter through Northrop & Johnson, with a weekly rate starting at $680,000.
